A few months after Charlene started to work under another Xeni Gwet'in who had her Early Childhood Degree which was Susie Lulua (who gave up her Social Worker position) which was when Charlene was diagnosed with cancer.?
She died a few weeks later. A year later Susie pushed to rename the Tl'ebayi Daycare to Charlene William Daycare.
